Anthony M. Kotin and Margaret P. Kotin Endowed Scholarship
The Anthony M. Kotin and Margaret P. Kotin Endowed Scholarship was established in 2009 through a generous gift from Dr. and Mrs. Kotin.
Dr. Kotin graduated from Rush Medical College in 1977 and has enjoyed a long career in health care, beginning with his private practice in Chicago’s western suburbs. For many years, Dr. Kotin served as the Chief Medical Officer for Magellan Health, a managed health care company focused on behavioral health, and he continues to provide executive leadership in the health care sector.
Dr. Kotin’s dedication to Rush includes his service on the Board of Trustees and a term as president of Rush Medical College Alumni Association Executive Council. In 2019, he was recognized with the 2019 Distinguished Alumni Award to honor Dr. Kotin’s career achievements and commitment to Rush.
Dr. and Mrs. Kotin created this scholarship to support RMC students with financial need and an interest in primary care.
