Buntrock College of Nursing Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Rosemarie and Dean Buntrock Endowed Scholarship was established by Rosemarie Buntrock, a member of The Woman’s Board, and her husband, Dean Buntrock, as part of their generous commitment to Rush University Medical Center in 2007. This scholarship provides support to students enrolled in the Rush College of Nursing.

Mr. Buntrock is the founder and former chairman of Waste Management, Inc., is one of the largest waste removal, recycling and disposal companies in North America. In addition to this endowed scholarship, Mr. and Mrs. Buntrock have supported numerous other initiatives at Rush, including translational research related to cancer, heart disease and diabetes.
