David Monash, MD, Medical Student Assistance

This fund was established in 1972 through the will of Edith Monash. Her wish was to assist medical students in the form of loans or grants. She designated The Chicago Community Trust to administer her bequest, which benefits six medical schools in the greater Chicago area. The fund honors Dr. David Monash, who was a Chicago obstetrician.
