Dorothy Seyfang Menker Endowed Scholarship Fund for Nursing

The Dorothy Seyfang Menker Endowed Scholarship Fund for Nursing was established in 2007 by Mrs. Menker and her husband, Egon.

Mrs. Menker is a 1956 alumna of the St. Luke’s Hospital Training School for Nurses. She and her husband have been loyal Rush supporters, establishing this scholarship in support of students enrolled in the College of Nursing. The Menkers also made a generous gift during the fundraising campaign to build the new inpatient hospital, and the family and visitor lounge on the 10th floor of the Tower is named in their honor.
