Dr. Scholl Foundation Endowed Scholarship

Dr. Scholl Foundation Endowed Scholarship

The Dr. Scholl Foundation Endowed Scholarship was established in 2006 through a commitment from the Dr. Scholl Foundation.

Since 1947, the Dr. Scholl Foundation has supported charitable causes throughout Chicago and beyond. Dr. Scholl, who created the foot care company that bears his name, was rooted in Chicago and attended medical school at what is now Loyola University. When he passed away in 1968, he left the bulk of his fortune to the charitable foundation, which has contributed over $285 million to various nonprofit organizations since 1980. Rush University is a fortunate recipient of their support, which established this endowed scholarship for deserving students enrolled in Rush Medical College.
