Erma Page and Burton Lewis Endowed Scholarship

The Erma Page and Burton Lewis Endowed Scholarship was established in 1993 by Mr. Lewis in memory of his wife Erma, a 1944 graduate of the St. Luke’s Hospital Training School for Nurses.

Mrs. Lewis, who passed away in 1991, supported the Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Nurses Alumni Association, and this scholarship honors her legacy of caring for others. ?You make a living from your profession, which all begins with your schooling ? so it?s important to give back to the institution that gave you your start,? said Mr. Lewis, who remains committed to this scholarship intended for nursing students with financial need.
