Florence D. Hagenah Endowed Nursing Scholarship Fund
The Florence D. Hagenah Endowed Nursing Scholarship Fund was established in 1973 by Rush Life Trustee William John Hagenah in honor of his wife. Since the passing of Florence and William, several generations of Hagenahs have generously supported the fund, which provides financial assistance to students in the College of Nursing.
In creating the scholarship, Mr. Hagenah requested that the selection of the student be “based on character, scholastic attainment and promise of future achievement in a career of professional nursing.”
Impact
To support scholarship for students in the Rush College of Nursing. Recipients should be selected based on character and scholastic achievement.
