Herb J. Miller, PhD, Medical Laboratory Science Scholarship

The Herb J. Miller, PhD, Medical Laboratory Science Scholarship was established in 2013 with numerous gifts from friends and colleagues in honor of Dr. Miller.

Dr. Miller held academic appointments at Rush for nearly 40 years. He served as acting dean of the College of Health Sciences at Rush University in 2006 and again in 2014 and held prior positions as the associate dean of academic affairs and graduate studies in the college. He also served as chair of Rush’s Department of Medical Laboratory Science and the division director of the PhD program in health sciences.

This scholarship honors his legacy at Rush and the impact of his years as a leader and educator.
