Jerome and Ilene Cole Foundation Endowed Scholarship
The Jerome and Ilene Cole Endowed Scholarship was established in 2001 with a generous philanthropic gift from the Jerome and Ilene Cole Foundation.
In 1955, Mr. Cole co-founded the Cole-Parmer Scientific Instrument Company in a 1,200-foot loft in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. Today, Cole-Parmer is a global manufacturer of specialty scientific products with hundreds of employees. As the company grew, Mr. and Mrs. Cole were dedicated to giving back to their community, generously donating to numerous charitable causes through the Jerome and Ilene Cole Foundation.
