Jules R. and Eleanor B. Green Scholarship
The Jules R. and Eleanor B. Green Scholarship was established by the late Mr. and Mrs. Green, longtime benefactors of Rush University Medical Center and charter members of the Rush Heritage Society — an esteemed group of forward-thinking friends who elect to remember Rush in their estate plans.
In establishing the scholarship, Mr. and Mrs. Green wished to encourage medical students to become skilled and compassionate physicians in the tradition exemplified by Mr. Green’s own Rush physicians, Drs. James G. Clark, Milton Weinberg, Jr. and David O. Monson. In addition to this scholarship in honor of these physicians, a gift from Mr. and Mrs. Green’s estate also established an endowed research fund at Rush that continues to provide for innovation in cardiovascular surgery.
