Linda Jane Del Monte Endowed Nursing Scholarship

The Linda Del Monte Endowed Scholarship was established by Ms. Del Monte, a 1977 alumna of the Rush University College of Nursing.

After graduation, Ms. Del Monte worked as a registered nurse at Rush for seven years, in addition to working five years in Saudi Arabia. Her worldly interests led her to take a position in clinical marketing for a multinational corporation, allowing her to interact with health professionals and systems around the world for more than 20 years.

Ms. Del Monte, who is grateful to have received scholarship support for her nursing education, credits Rush for her illustrious career: “It all started at Rush, where I was taught critical thinking skills and how to be a strong patient advocate — all skills that transferred into the different paths I took in my career.”
