Medical Staff Loan
This fund was established at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center with contributions from members of the medical staff and faculty. The Medical Staff-Faculty Loan Fund was formally established during the term of Walter W. Whisler, MD, PhD as Medical Staff President (1989-1991).
Impact
To provide loans for students in the Rush Medical College. Monies cannot be redirected by the Medical Center administration for any other purpose. The secondary purpose of the fund, after the needs of eligible students have been met, is to meet the educational needs of Rush Medical College.
