Rhoda Grupe Brown Endowed Scholarship

Rhoda Grupe Brown Endowed Scholarship

The Rhoda Grupe Brown Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2000 by Mrs. Brown, a 1945 graduate of Presbyterian School of Nursing. At the time of her passing in 2009, Mrs. Brown significantly grew this scholarship with a generous gift from her estate.

Mrs. Brown is remembered as an extraordinary servant, having worked as a nurse during World War II and taking a post in a polio clinic before marrying Dr. R. Gordon Brown. In later years, she was an active philanthropist, donating her time to charitable causes around the globe.
