Richard Melcher, MD, Family Endowed Scholarship

The Richard Melcher, MD, Family Endowed Scholarship was established by Dr. Melcher and his family in 2006. Dr. Melcher graduated from Rush Medical College in 1975 and he remains a practice as a family medicine physician in northeast Georgia.

The Melcher family has long been devoted to Rush University Medical Center, and Dr. Melcher serves on the Board of Governors of Rush University. For many years, he also provided leadership to the Rush Medical College Alumni Association Executive Council, including a term as president.
