The Marjorie McCurdy Kelly and Carl Duncan Kelly Endowed Scholarship Fund for Rush Medical College

The Marjorie McCurdy Kelly & Carl Duncan Kelly Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 1996 by the late Rush Trustee Thomas A. Kelly, who wished to honor his parents with an endowed scholarship at Rush Medical College.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Kelly were longtime Rush benefactors, and Mrs. Janet Kelly served as president of The Woman’s Board from 1976-1978. Their charitable legacy lives in this scholarship, which was established through a gift from the Kelly’s charitable trust after Mr. Kelly’s passing in 1996. They were also instrumental in creating a scholarship for students in the College of Health Sciences as well as the Floyd A. Davis Endowed Chair in the Department of Neurology.

Impact

To support scholarship for students in the Rush Medical College and/or the Rush College of Nursing.
