The Myrna G. and Benjamin I. Brindley, MD, Endowed Scholarship

The Myrna G. and Benjamin I. Brindley, MD, Endowed Scholarship was established in 1989 with a bequest from the estate of Benjamin I. Brindley, MD, a 1929 graduate of Rush Medical College who specialized in ophthalmology and otolaryngology.

Myrna G. Brindley attended Superior State Teachers College and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin. She was an active volunteer for the American Red Cross, Glenwood Moravian Community Church, Dane County Medical Society Auxiliary and the Nakoma Golf Club.

Dr. Brindley died in 1989, and his wife continued to add to this endowment in memory of her late husband until her death in 2003.
